Recently I was talking to my friend Frank about reincarnation. He's one of those passionately skeptical people who I think would actually like to believe but just has trouble bringing himself to. Frank is always up for doing all kinds of mental and pyschological experiments however so I thought it would be interesting to do an experiment where he just tried to rely on his intuition and create some made up past life stories, using imagination to create possible past lives. As the night wore on and he got tired he slipped into a semi regressed state and the results were quite amazing. I've never discussed any of the specific details of my past lives to him except mentioning my last life as Jill once or twice when he inquired about the picture of her I keep with me, but despite that almost all of the fictional lives he came up, nearly a dozen, matched almost perfectly the details of lives where I knew him. Most impressive was when I asked him to create a life in ancient Rome. The details he came up with matched up perfectly with the life of Drusus Caesar, my son as Tiberius. When I read him the biography of Drusus Caesar and how it compared to what he said he was impressed and said he wanted to read the book I Claudius now. I still don't think he's a total believer but his skeptcism is weakening I think. The fact that he has no exposure to any accounts of reincarnation etc. and the stuff found by regression therapists I feel this makes him a better subject as he's free of bias completely. I'm hoping next time to try and regress him more and possibly also take him to prebirth and the future. I figure if what he sees in the future proves accurate it will be even harder to dismiss as he certainly couldn't have read and then imagined the future from a book he read! The details are too long to post here but can be read in my most recent blog entry(or January 25th, 2009 for anyone reading this later)-
