Proof positive, I remember that show, that was years ago and it didn't last long, sadly. The ghost hunting shows definately are the big popular paranormal thing at the moment, reincarnation interest seems to be at a low point right now, though in the US it never really gained huge popularity. The ghost programs probably get a greater audiance in the US because the concept of ghosts doesn't inherently go against mainstream Judeo-Christian beliefs in the way reincarnation does, as it is still seen as largely an Eastern belief. Even if belief in reincarnation seems to be going up strong interest hasn't been generated as a result. I am glad to see all paranormal claims investigated, research into ghosts certainly can't hurt more broader afterlife studies, even if it's not personally as interesting to me as where that soul is going once it's moved on. I am also glad to see interest in UFOs seems to be increasing in popularity again after a bit of a dip in recent years. It's all good, but still kinda disappointing reincarnation programs and books are, by comparison to other similar topics, significantly underrepresented. I have a theory on why which I might address with a separate post.
