Re: I've been told more about Will's lifetime

In all honesty, I am very glad and relieved to hear this, so thanks for sharing it, Sandra. Why? Because from my reading, experience, etc., including the infinitesimally-miniscule amount of shamanic knowledge I have, I came to feel a while back that there is no such thing as multiple streams of rein...

Re: Another Life...?

Yeah, I've been lurking for months, or years, I admit. As I told Sandra in an email, it's because I've turned my focus and devoted my life, for now, to online writing. I've posted about 160,000 words each on two works since March, one a revision of my published novels, one a sequel. Jump to 'em from...

I am remiss, I haven't been on here for ages... so... long enough to answer this question, how I felt in Thebes... depressed. I just felt depressed. And I wanted to be elsewhere. Least favourite part of the trip. Of course it looks totally different, but I still knew where it was, if you know what I...

Good work Phoenix! The raving nutbag meme LIVES.

But I still want to see Jan's famous quote, "I am so megalomaniac that only I can understand myself!" in the paper. My life then would be complete.

Hi Sandra (et al): Yes, no worries, things are going fine. I'm back in Canada and kind of processing / consolidating. Big thing that's bummed me out is totally unrelated -- a very close friend being diagnosed with cancer. I am only just starting to write about the reincarnation aspect. One thing I d...

Was he a Theban? Who was in my army? I don't think a lot of them would have been there willingly.

I got triggered google-mapping Thebes. It helped to know that there's a thriving city there still... I think I will enjoy seeing that. I will be there -- again -- on Thursday.

Warmly,
Karen

Hi Peter [et al] I recall back when I took a round of doing hatha yoga, one of the "side effects" listed was remembering past lives (along with various psychic powers). This was followed by the caveat that these were merely unimportant distractions to spiritual development. At the time, I ...

Hi Peter (et al): I'm just wondering why knowing famous people isn't just as or even more interesting, or as glamorous... Vanity, vanity, all is vanity! It's all about ego. About how impressive you think you look to other people. Really, is there anyone, aside from a handful of Zen masters, who does...

I think it's that if you talk about actual reincarnation actually happening, it jacks up the challenge to people's set notions a lot. Talked about in generalities, it's relatively safe. Talked about in specific facts, then it's raising the issue for them of who they might have been. Most of us don't...

Hi Sandra, et al: First thing I'd suggest, since it's easy, after looking at the meta tags: add "past life" and "past lives." I think at least as many people are going to use those terms to search as will use "reincarnation" -- and right now they're all missing us. Sugg...

Ask me again when I get back from Greece... visiting every spot that Alexander was known to have gone within the current Greek borders from June 15-30. I suspect it will trigger the you-know out of me, but not feel like home... I don't think it felt like home in that life. I don't think any place di...

I remember I just always believed in reincarnation... it was the only one of the post-life theories that made any sense to me. So I had theories about PLs before I had memories, at least memories that I identified as such. Before that, it was just wrong to me that people were telling me I wasn't mal...

Phoenix, that's awesome. Good luck... though I'm sure it will go off well. And let me know when it's a "go" again on the book... I know you know I think this, but I'll say it again... a lot of people need that book to be out there. Makes me wonder... perhaps we're all a little more afraid ...
