Remember all those cool images you guys came up with for the Famous Past Life Death Match we once had?

Want to do them again?

Want to see them used in a video for Far Memory?

Create and Submit!

My memory's a shocker... I know I should remember what that was all about, but I can't. Would you be able to let me know what the guidelines are? :) I like tinkering around with images, but my enjoyment probably far exceeds my skill. Hehehe
Cheers,

Alexander, Shakespeare, Himmler, and Marie Antoinette action figures did a celebrity death match. I have my action figure heh-heh - I don't remember if others had their own action figure or not. Some of the images I can get off the internet, but if anyone still has the original images for some of this stuff, it would be lovely...

Ooooo, I remember now. :)
Yes, there was one for Marie Antoinette, I'm quite sure, because I recall a conversation about the detatchable/projectile head. Wasn't that the thing that started the 'Decapitation Support Group' we had going for a while? Lol.
Slightly tangent, but I sent a letter (snail mail, not email) to Athlynne the other day, but don't expect to hear back for a little while 'cause Aussie post can be slow. Hopefully she'll give me some idea as to when she's coming back - I miss her.

Funny you should mention this, Sandra, because I was thinking about it the other day. I still have all the ones I did. "I want to repost those images," I was thinking, "but I want to wait until the right moment..." I know I can get in psychic sync with fellow reincarnationists, it happened with Kleitos... maybe it's happening now with you and me?

We'd have to recreate the accompanying witty repartee by memory, though.

For everyone's information: my rule when I was doing them was that all the characters had to be action figures. The Marie Antoinette one has a head that pops off. I was joking with Athlynne (whom I also miss dearly!!!) that if there was a Thomas More one we could do a pop-off contest to see whose head would go furthest.

Not only do I have the jpegs but I have the source files, with layers still separate. What that means is that for video purposes I could do a series of images with, for instance, Antoinette's head moving further and further along a line, so that if they were run as frames in a video the head would be flying along a trajectory.

...... Feh...... I was going to post the first one as part of this message but photobucket is down for site maintenance. Later.

Warmly,
Karen

Hey -- the bucket's back! Okay, here we go:

Shakespeare and Alexander venture to determine whether the pen really is mightier than the sword...

So then Marie Antoinette gets into the act, trying to peg Himmler. There was much waggish quipping about the importance of aim when you have a single-shot weapon.

Just about then, Phoenix posted an image that looked a lot like this:

Alexander's had his block knocked off!

There I was, momentarily distracted from the melee by the thought, 'That woman has a head on her shoulders!' when PWANG! I was suddenly what I'd always wanted to be -- a foot taller!

Momentarily enjoying the view from up here, I fulfilled a request from another member, can't remember who, for a South Park reference. South Park action figures are a breeze to find.

Image

The most important part, of course, is the chicken on Himmler's head. If you don't know why, expect to find out if and when Phoenix rejoins us.

So then Andy got on board, and I thought I detected from him a certain desire to be included...

Then he subtly reminded us that he took karate in that life. "Heeeee-ya! Whoop! Waaaaaaaah!" he subtly wrote. Is there an Elvis karate action figure, pictured online? Does the pope live in the woods? This is America.
